The length of OU vertically class progressive cavity pump can be adjustable, so that the pump can be adjusted to pools or wells of various depths. The rotor and stator stay under the water while operating the pump
so that the gear motor does not come into contact with the medium. The suction port of the pump is located at the bottom of the pool and it is fixed by the foot to maximize stability.

Operation theory of progressive cavity pump
This progressive cavity pump is a volumetric pump design that operates through the interference fit between the eccentric rotor and fixed stator. The interconnected seal cavities are exposed to the inlet and outlet through rotation and this allows the flow of the fluid through the pump.

Rotator
We can design and process the rotor into various geometric shapes according to customer requirements. And metal material can be treated for surface hardening. After treatment the metal can reach HRC65-67 hardness.

Stator
Material: NBR, NBRH, HNBR, EPDM and FKM are optional.
Various materials can achieve different levels of abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance under varying working conditions.

Universal joint
Various types of universal joints are available for selection such as pin, hygienic, flexible, ball tooth and cross pin.

Seal
According to the working condition, packing seal and mechanical seals are optional. In order to prolong the shaft seal life, a cooling and flushing system can be added.

Driving system
SEW, NORD, ABB and more high quality driving systems are optional.
